  • Sycamore Island is owned by the Conservancy and managed by Falcontail Enterprises.  The park is located along the San Joaquin River and home to a variety of fish (bass, catfish, blue gill and crappie).  Visitors can enjoy canoeing, picnicking, and walking trails to enjoy nature and observe wildlife. Sycamore Island is open February 1 through October 31, Saturdays, Sundays, and state holidays from 6:00 a.m. to dusk, and Fridays from noon to dusk.  The entry fee is $9.00 per car and $5.00 per boat (no gas powered motors allowed).  For information, please call Falcontail Enterprises at (559) 696-9170.   Sycamore Island Information Flyer
  • Friant Cove opened in October 2007.  The facility is owned by the Conservancy and managed by California State Parks, Millerton Lake State Recreation Area.  Friant Cove is open 7 days a week, and provides a Park and Ride, hand-carried canoe launch, fishing, picnic tables, and restroom.  For information, call (559) 822-2332.
  • Wildwood Native Park, owned  by the Conservancy and managed by the City of Fresno is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and  holidays, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. or dusk, includes a restroom, canoe launch, picnic tables, and trail accessible for physically disabled persons.   • Lewis S. Eaton Trail is open 7 days a week for biking, hiking, and horseback riding; it is operated by the City of Fresno Parks and Recreation Department. For information, call (559) 621-2900.

  • Jensen River Ranch and the Tom MacMichael Sr. Trail are owned by the Conservancy and operated by the City of Fresno, located north of Woodward Park and is a 1.5 mile hiking trail to the river along wetlands and grasslands.  For information, call (559) 253-7324.  

  • Camp Pashayan, a San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust and state-owned facility, is open from Memorial Day weekend to the end of October.  This facility offers a canoe launch and picnicking areas. The entry fee is $5.00 per car and $5.00 per boat.  For information, call (559) 433-3190, ext 3#.

  • Lost Lake Regional Park, owned and operated by the County of Fresno is open 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., has camping, fishing, play areas, and picnic tables. For information, call (559) 488-3004.

  • San Joaquin Fish Hatchery, owned and operated by the State of California, Department of Fish & Game, is open every day from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.   For information, call (559) 822-2374.

  • Coke Hallowell Center for River Studies is owned and operated by the San Joaquin Parkway and Conservation Trust.  The River Center is open Saturdays and Sundays, 11a.m. - 3 p.m., and provides exhibits, a gift shop, restrooms, and gardens. The Trust also offers seasonal nature walks and canoe trips. For information, call (559) 433-3190, ext 3#.
  • Willow Lodge is owned by the Department of Fish and Game and managed by the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust.  The lodge is available for small public meetings or educational projects.  The property offers an ADA accessible nature trail and observation dock, and an outdoor gathering areas for small groups. For information, please call (559) 433-3190, ext 3#.
